CHENG JING A100 is a premium water-based acrylic sealant designed for general interior sealing and gap-filling applications. It cures by evaporation of water to form a flexible, durable and paintable seal that accommodates minor joint movement. Its low-odour, solvent-free formulation makes it safe and convenient for use in residential and commercial indoor environments.
A100 offers excellent adhesion to common porous and non-porous building substrates, including concrete, brick, plaster, plasterboard, wood, MDF, aluminium, uPVC and painted surfaces. Once fully cured, the sealant can be sanded smooth and overpainted with most water-based and solvent-based paints, allowing it to blend seamlessly with surrounding decor. It is easy to apply with a standard caulking gun and cleans up with water while still wet.
Ideal for everyday renovation and maintenance tasks, A100 is the cost-effective, user-friendly choice for sealing around window and door frames, filling cracks and gaps in walls and ceilings, sealing skirting boards and architraves, and finishing joints between plasterboard panels. It is not recommended for permanent water immersion or below-grade applications.

Application Instructions
1. Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil and loose particles. Remove any old, crumbling sealant or paint from the joint.
2. Apply masking tape on both sides of the joint for a clean, straight finish. For deep joints, install a suitable backer rod to control sealant depth.
3. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired bead size, pierce the inner foil seal, and fit the cartridge into a caulking gun.
4. Apply the sealant evenly into the joint in one continuous pass, ensuring full contact with both surfaces.
5. Tool the sealant immediately with a wet shaping tool or wet finger within the tack-free time (30–60 minutes), then carefully remove the masking tape.
6. Allow the sealant to cure fully (24–48 hours) before painting, sanding or exposing to water. Clean uncured material from tools and hands with water.
Safety & Storage
- Use in well-ventilated areas; although low in odour, avoid prolonged inhalation and direct skin/eye contact with uncured sealant.
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection during application; in case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Remove uncured sealant from skin and tools with water before curing; cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.
- Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry place below 27°C, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and frost; keep sealed when not in use.
- Do not puncture or incinerate containers, even when empty; dispose of waste material in accordance with local environmental regulations.
