CHENG JING 9100 Anti-Mildew Silicone Sealant is a premium one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant specially formulated for wet and humid environments. Infused with advanced anti-fungal technology, it effectively inhibits the growth of mould, mildew and black stains on the cured sealant surface, keeping joints clean and hygienic even in continuously damp conditions such as bathrooms, kitchens and shower rooms.
The sealant cures at room temperature by reacting with atmospheric moisture to form a durable, flexible and permanently waterproof rubber. Application Instructions
1. Ensure the joint is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, old sealant and loose particles.
2. Apply masking tape on both sides of the joint to achieve a clean, straight finish.
3. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired bead size, fit the cartridge into a caulking gun.
4. Apply the sealant evenly into the joint in one continuous pass, ensuring full contact with both surfaces.
5. Tool the sealant immediately with a wet finger or shaping tool within 5–10 minutes, then remove the masking tape.
6. Allow the sealant to cure fully (at least 24 hours) before exposing to water or heavy use; avoid touching during curing.
Safety & Storage
- Use only in well-ventilated areas; avoid prolonged inhalation of curing vapours.
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection during application; uncured sealant may irritate skin and eyes.
- In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice; remove uncured sealant from skin with a suitable cleaner.
- Store cartridges upright in a cool, dry place below 27°C, away from direct sunlight and heat sources; keep sealed when not in use.
- Keep out of reach of children. Do not puncture or incinerate empty cartridges.
