CHENG JING CJ9900 is a premium one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant specifically engineered for demanding exterior weather sealing applications. It cures at room temperature by reacting with atmospheric moisture to form a durable, permanently flexible and waterproof rubber seal. The neutral curing system releases no corrosive by-products, making it safe for use on sensitive substrates such as natural stone, marble, concrete, metals and coated surfaces without the risk of staining or discoloration.
With outstanding resistance to UV radiation, ozone, rain, snow, extreme temperatures and prolonged weathering, CJ9900 maintains its elasticity, adhesion and sealing performance for many years in harsh outdoor environments. Its high movement capability of up to ±25% allows it to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction of building joints without cracking, peeling or losing adhesion, providing reliable long-term weatherproofing for curtain walls, facades and exterior building envelopes.

Application Instructions
1. Ensure the joint is clean, dry and free from dust, grease, oil, old sealant and loose particles; clean porous substrates with a suitable cleaner and allow to dry completely.
2. Install closed-cell backer rod (e.g. polyethylene foam) at the correct depth to control sealant cross-section, ensuring a 2:1 width-to-depth ratio for optimal movement performance.
3. Apply masking tape on both sides of the joint to achieve a clean, straight finish and protect adjacent surfaces.
4. Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle to the desired bead size, pierce the inner foil seal, and fit the cartridge or sausage into a caulking gun; apply the sealant evenly in one continuous pass, ensuring full contact with both joint surfaces.
5. Tool the sealant immediately with a suitable shaping tool or wet finger within the tack-free time, then carefully remove the masking tape before a skin forms.
6. Allow the sealant to cure fully (typically 7–14 days for deep joints) before exposing to heavy rain, water immersion or full joint movement; avoid touching or disturbing the joint during curing.
Safety & Storage
- Use only in well-ventilated areas; avoid prolonged inhalation of curing vapours and direct skin/eye contact with uncured sealant.
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection during application; in case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
- Remove uncured sealant from skin and tools with a suitable cleaner or solvent before curing; cured sealant can only be removed mechanically.
- Store cartridges or sausages upright in a cool, dry place below 27°C, away from direct sunlight, heat sources and moisture; keep sealed when not in use.
- Do not puncture or incinerate containers, even when empty; dispose of waste material in accordance with local environmental regulations.
